Moto X release date
Update: The Moto X will be available for preorder via the Motorola MotoMaker website starting tomorrow for an off-contract price of 499 USD (16 GB model). The Moto X will also come in a "Pure Edition" with an unlockable bootloader. It's said to be the closest thing to a vanilla Android experience that can be found and will guarantee quick updates to new Android versions.
Accompanying the device launch is the Moto Hint, an in-ear Bluetooth device which gives you complete voice-control over the Moto X, at a price of 149.99 USD, and the Motorola Turbo Charger, which will add around 8 hours of charge to the device in just 15 minutes. The Turbo Charger price is set at 34.99 USD.
The Moto X will become available with most carriers in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia later this month.Moto X price
Coming with a black soft touch plastic backing, 16 GB base models will cost 499 USD, but carriers will have it for as low as 99 USD on contract (16 GB or 32 GB). Using the MotoMaker options to add color accents and a bamboo back or leather sets you back 529 USD for the 16 GB version. The Moto X with 32 GB goes for 579 USD, with the choice of any back panel.
Motorola's fantastic MotoMaker store will finally be arriving to the UK by the end of September, offering fully customizable designs for the Moto X at a price of £419.99.Moto X specs
